• There is no car rental concessions dockside however our visitor services staff can help arranging this service for you. Most companies will pick you up from the pier and drop you off. We recommend making your reservations at least 24-hours in advance to secure your car rental while in Port.

Where do cruise ships dock?

• Piers 22 and 20 are the principal cruise ship berths offering passengers direct ship-to-shore access to HPA’s dedicated cruise passenger terminals, Pavilions 22 and 20. Pavilion 22 offers cruise passengers and crew unique and friendly shopping experience and Pavilion 20 offers an open, barrier-free space ideal for gathering for tours. Tour buses, taxis and limousines are conveniently located in front of the terminals.
• Pier 23 Cunard Centre has been transformed into a home-porting facility for cruise passenger turn-around and port of call operations. When not in use for cruise operations this facility it can accommodate a variety of functions, from formal banquets for up to 2, 500 guests, receptions for 4, 000 people.
• When there are multiple cruise ships in Port, we occasionally use the Lower Berths at Ocean Terminals (Piers 31 and 34). Passengers and crew are shuttled from the Lower Berths to Pavilion 22 because Ocean Terminals is a restricted and secure working terminal.

Where can I pick-up cruise passenger or crew visiting the Port of Halifax?

• You can meet your guests as they disembark through our dedicated cruise passenger terminals, Pavilions 22 and 20.
• Public parking is available in the parking lot in front of Pavilion 22.

Where can I pick-up cruise passenger or crew visiting the Port of Halifax if their cruise ship is docked at the Lower Berths (Piers 31 or 34)?

• All passengers and crew are shuttled from the Lower Berths to the south doors of Pavilion 22.
