Hotels in Halifax West Yorkshire

Arrived early evening, we were booked in very quickly, however, hotel was quiet. Friendly welcome and an offer to carry our bags upstairs to our room, nice touch! The room is kept very clean, housemaid service each day of our stay. The big downside for us was that the room was very hot, no heating on in room, thank goodness, just very warm! Only one small window in room. Bed needs new mattress! Good size bathroom, water pressure for both bath and shower is excellent. The shower does need attention in room 117, the head can't be moved and when i attempted, the head came off! The bar and resturant are excellent in design, staff are very friendly, food is good and fresh, prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. We used room service, this was very fast and very good too, with it being late we just had a sandwich, this was prepared well and we loved the little extra's that came with it! Overall our stay was very nice, we would recommend and most certainly will be staying again!
