Bluenose II Restaurant About Us

The Bluenose II Restaurant has been family owned and operated in Halifax, Nova Scotia since 1964, and we proudly provide our customers with quality, home-style meals every day.

People have been coming here for generations, and they feel at home when they are here. They appreciate that we consistently provide fresh, high-quality food. We invite you to come in and sample our diverse menu; our friendly staff will be happy to serve you!

We offer breakfast and various lunch specials, prepared fresh daily. Some of our seafood specialities include lobster, haddock, salmon, scallops, and clams. Of course, we serve traditional meals such as burgers, steak and seafood, but you can also choose from our Greek and Mediterranean options such as souvlaki and lasagna. We also make coffees such as lattes and cappuccinos, and it’s a great spot to grab a fresh salad or sandwich.

The Bluenose II Restaurant accommodates bus tours and sports teams. We have strong ties within our community and we are a proud supporter of local teams and organizations.
